Viganj

Viganj is a small town in the southwestern part of the Peljesac Peninsula, 7 km west of Orebic, opposite the island of Korcula. Viganj is facing south, and is very warm and pleasant microclimate. In addition to Hvar, Viganj has the most sunny days a year.
The World is a very popular place for people who likes water sports, especially windsurfing and kite-surfing sport and host a variety of Croatian, European and world windsurfing regattas, competitions and championships. Hikers enjoy the benefits of Sveti Ilija hill from where the view of the entire South Adriatic. There are many suitable trails for mountain biking and trekking, and lovers of flora and fauna can enjoy and photograph some very rare plant and animal species.
Promenade of Viganj and Kuciste is about 4 kilometers and is extremely beautiful and suitable for biking, rollerblading, walk and socialize in restaurants and beach bars.
